FORESTVIEW WINS 7th NC HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL;
Forestview High School of Gastonia, NC captured the team title in the 7th NC High School Invitational. Forestview shot a round of 12 over par 300 on the Tom Fazio designed golf course at Treyburn CC in Durham. Broughton High School of Raleigh finished six shots back at 306 and Leesville Road High School of Raleigh finished in third place eight shots back at 308. Jack Sides on New Bern, NC won the medalist award after a round of one over par 73 on the tough 6,900 yard par 72 course. This annual junior tournament in conducted by the Tarheel Youth Golf Association in a partnership with McConnell Golf. Final Results
