NEW TYGA TOURNAMENT PLAYERS’ CLUB ANNOUNCED

The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) has announced a new Tournament Players’ Club for the Tarheel   Youth Golf Association (TYGA).  The new membership program will ensure the continued success of the TYGA tournament program which helps grow the game through junior golf.  The Tournament Players’ Club will be open to any junior golfer from North Carolina who is 18 years of age or younger.  Benefits of the new membership are: a $15 discounted entry fee into all TYGA tournaments, priority tournament registration periods (seven days) and an upgraded membership packet.  The annual membership will cost each member $25.
“As the number of junior events has grown, the CGA has also expanded its junior program to include the Tarheel Youth Golf Association,” said Jason Cox, Director of Junior Golf for the CGA.  “The TYGA tournament program was created in 1996 as an introduction to competition.  While we continue to offer this service, our events have grown in popularity, and the player’s club will allow us to provide the best tournament experience for our junior members,” Cox added.
Juniors will be able to join the 2014 Tournament Players’ Club beginning on December 2, 2013.
