EAST=25 ½      WEST=18 ½

 

West End, NC—The East team continued their dominance defeating the West team 25 ½ points to 18 ½ points in the Tarheel Youth Golf Association East-West Challenge at Seven Lakes CC in West End, NC.  The East, representing Eastern North Carolina, captured the title for a third straight year over the team of juniors representing Western North Carolina.  The West team battled back to pull within 2 points of the East, but the East won seven of the last ten matches to pull away for the 7 point lead.

 

This annual junior competition is conducted by the Tarheel Youth Golf Association, a division of the Carolinas Golf Association.
