The CGA has
everything set for the 2013 Island Four-Ball Getaway
Tournament. We will be returning to Casa de Campo Resort
in the Dominican Republic next year. Tournament dates
are February 20-22, 2013 with the 4-night package from
February 19-23 and the 7-night package from February
16-23. Trip has been set up to accommodate up to 96
people on a first come, first serve basis.
The resort package is
the basically same as last year except as denoted below.

Everyone will be staying in a Standard category room.
Upgrades to Elite rooms are $95.00 per room – per night
(not per person) and will be charged to your room bill.
Pricing did not increase this year, which we hope will
entice you and your friends to join us on this fun
A few items to note
for this year’s trip are:
New "Coral Highway" is now open in the Dominican
Republic that greatly reduces airport transfer time.
Punta Cana airport (PUJ) is now only 45 minutes and
Santo Domingo (SDQ) is 60 minutes. La Romana airport
(LRM) is the closest at only 5 minutes.
Only 4-night and
7-night packages are available. For those wanting to
stay 5 or 6 nights simply select the appropriate
4-night package and add the extra nights. For those
wishing to stay 8 or more nights choose the
appropriate 7-night package and then add the extra

Teams will be
pre-flighted within your chosen division according
to team handicap computed by adding 2/3 low index
plus 1/3 high index. We use this computation to
flight teams at our Father-Son, Parent-Child, Mixed
Team and Women’s Four-Ball Championships.
Cart use will be
mandatory for tournament rounds.
We will use a
double tee start at Dye Fore instead of a single tee
to assist with pace of play.
The Links course
has been renovated and is getting wonderful reviews.
