The Tarheel Youth Golf Association is excited to announce TYGA Wedgewood High School Shootout will be held at Wedgewood GC on April 5, 2017. The event will be an 18-hole stroke play tournament for public and private high schools fromthe state of North Carolina.

 

An anticipated field of 15 teams (90 junior golfers) will compete on for the shootout title on Wedgewood GC which has hosted the CGA N.C. Junior Qualifier.

FORMAT
The championship is conducted at 18-holes of team and individual stroke play. Each team may be represented by five players and must return four individual 18-hole scores to qualify for the team championship.

 

ELIGIBILITY
Open to any public and private North Carolina high school golf team.  Team members must meet age eligibility set by their school.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Monday, March 27, 2017        Registration closes

Monday, March 27, 2017        Team rosters due by 5 p.m.

Wednesday, April 5, 2017       Round one starting time to be announced.

                                             Awards presentation at 6:30 p.m.

 

PRIZES

Trophies are awarded to the championship school, members of the championship team, and the individual medalist and runner-up.
