Kannapolis, N.C. (March 24, 2017) -- First round results from the North State High School Challenge at the Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, N.C. on March 24-25, 2017.
Broughton H.S. of Raleigh, N.C. holds the first round lead, at the North State High School Challenge hosted by the club at Irish Creek, over the Cannon School of Concord, N.C.
Zach Brown, a sophomore at R.J. Reynolds High School in Winston Salem sits atop the leader board on the individual side after an opening round, 6 under, 65. Zach currently holds a four shot lead over Broughton H.S. senior Jimbo Stanley.
Play will continue tomorrow at the Club at Irish Creek at 12:00 PM.
